I love her voice, I'm super picky about female vocalists and she gives me chills. I'm not sure where I'd listen to this song,maybe on a bike ride? Probably just about anyware.

Mona- Lean to the fall

It is not uncommon for my brother to text me about a band i'd love, and more often that not he's right. I'd listen to this song while hanging out by the pool with a cocktail in hand.

 

Beach House - Myth

They are a fantastic match, I enjoy that its almostly ghostly. This would be perfect for a dancing outdoors to, with a flirty dress and a bow tie clad partner. 

Milk Carton Kids - Maybe it's time.

I love his voice, i also love that its a duo. It is perfect laying on a afagan in the grass under the stars music, or on the hood of a car, your choice.

The Lumineers - Flower in your Hair 

I Love this band they are compliment each other so well, this song is definatly bike riding music. Also in the youtube explanation they poster called oregon oregond. HAHAHA

Lana Del Ray - Born to Die

I love to listen to her when its cloudy and I'm having a inside sewing day. Her voice is very unique and a little chilling

Patti Smith- April Fool

I find so much inspiration in Patti Smith, she just wanted to be free, and she was. I love to listen to her when i hike and shoot photos. Or maybe if im on my rusted bike.

Timmy Sunshine

THIS GUY! He and his lovely lady have a new project and I might be doing some shoots for them in june. It wouldnt be summer without a new Timmy project for sure.

Foto Phriday: dishwashed edition

Last summer on Lomography lab rats I found a super awesome tutorial about throwing expro slide film in the dish washer and shooting with it, and cross processing it. I fell in love with the results so I decided to try it again!

 

Its extremely unpredictable and I had a Problem with my film being wet. So this happened by accident

 

I took a picture of my dog sleeping on the porch, and then I took a picture of my my friends sitting in my

Sisters yard. The frames crossed an accidental double exposure was created. I’m stoked to share square photos soon, and

My mom brought him home yesterday, and there was film in him. The general

Rule that I don’t follow all the time is my camera are boy girl boy

Which kinda happened, when I named the Minolta Henson and I think the chema is named

Margot tennenbaum, BUT the lc wide is called the darjiling limited so that’s a train, but my canon dslr

Was just dubbed ariety. Therefore I think the new canon is a boy. Zane named him mar-maroon. But

Im leaning toward chuck barris or larry flint  and possibly guitar wolf, seeing as I try to name my cameras and favorite things after movies, I mean my bike is named clementine, but I just call her the red menace because I tend to fall off her. Making her a MENACE.

I think soon I need to have a post about all my cameras, I have a lot of them, and I love them all!

Did you know Lomography started making 110 film again, maybe I can locate the camera that started it all when I was 9.

I'm lost for time

I was so busy all weekend Helping my sweet sister with her birthday Party.

Where I brought the Photo Booth and Had Tusk Play

And the Last few days i've been catching up on my listening to new music

I cant wait for the full album from the lovely Patti Smith. Tomorrow I'll be back with a full list of the new songs I'm addicted to and that are going to be on my sumer mix!.

Tis the weekend

Yesterday One of our oldest family members got a hair cut

Because my Parents live in my great grandfathers house, we have alot of tall trees. It's practically narnia so they had a man come and give one of them a hair cut yesterday, i think the tree looks quite dashing.

Afterward, seeing as i can only look at a tree being cut for so long, I went for a drive and a hike with one of my best friends.

and made a new friend along the way

Today though, IS MOTHERS DAY.

So i put on my sunday best

And headed to my grandmas for a bbq. 

After all she's the mother of my mother.

I've bought four books in last month, (confessions of a dangerous mind not shown). Plus mom bought all the ellens. 

Then I finally got my buisness cards printed and sent to me. 

So this week has been productive ALSO I'm running a photobooth Next week and that makes me pretty stoked. Finally a foto friday

Plow Fest and a super moon

I was out in the orchard on saturday gazing at super moon, and playing wiht the natural life that nature bestowed.

On sunday i put on the old sneakers and went to find a different part of nature.

It was plow fest!

Where our friend skyler wanted to plow his garden and used free labor.

So we all took a turn

had some water melon

Played with the chickens

and roasted sausages

It was a perectly fine way to spend a sunday. I hope yours was nice as well

I suppose im good at other things.

I just found this on my myspace blog , and i suppose im good at writing or something 

If I had a penny for every time I thought of you, I wouldn’t be rich, but I’d be comfortable

If I had a nickle for every day you wernt with me, I could buy us a house with a yard for our cats and dogs,

If I had a dime for every second were not together, I’d get us a loft to be creative in

If all it took was a dollar to get you to stay here, I’d but a ten on the table and crawl in bed next to you

Because money doesn’t matter anymore, the weather or the water isn’t a factor, its that your body next to mine is the thing I dream about every night, and the feeling of emptiness I wake up to every morning. Sometime just the missed call makes me realize the roads yet traveled and the wasted years. Sometimes I think being with you is a fairy tale, then I realize that all fairy tales are dead, and that me and you are bigger than everything. Im willing to wait years if that mean I get to spend more time next to you,  I have waited 3 I can slowly with unknowing motion tread more water if at the end you’ll pull me out and hold my shivering body next to yours. 

O my glob my computer is back to me

And it feels so GOOD

a little bit of a fun weekend

K seriously. I HAD A BLASTY BLAST. I got all my randomness done in the morning on saturday so I could spend the afternoon rolling with the homies.

I helped my dad hang a mason bee hive.

Say a visiting art exhibit...

and then we were ten year olds and climbed all over trains

 

that little kid is hitting the open rails. 

Then i went home and stuck my feet into the freshly rototilled garden dirt. 

I spent sunday Doing laundry and watching the decendents. 

Then my dad made me fancy grilled cheese with ham.

and today im just happy its dry enough for my moccs. 

I'll be around later this week with another photo dump. YEE HAW. 

 

PINHOLE DAY. was yesterday.....

I have never taken a good pinhole roll of film but its one of my dreams. I realized one of my dreams last summer using god aweful expired polariod film. So maybe this summer me and illford bw will take a little trip. Even though ive never taken a roll i still think its loverly.
